Lenin Alley: The Soviet Past of Semipalatinsk
This collection of old Lenins, rounded up and placed in a park after the fall of the Soviet Union was in Semey. Formally known as Semipalatinsk, Semey is a city in eastern Kazakhstan, in the Kazakh part of Siberia. The statues were mostly removed a few months after we visited in 2023.
